Demo Update v1.3 Released!

Hey zomboarders! Thank you all once again for taking the time to play the demo for Radical Zomboarding! Another update just went out, so I hope you'll have fun with it!

Another update just went out, so I hope you'll have fun with it! Here's the changelog:

Update for 3-20-25:

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where perks activated from a chainsaw move would trigger twice

  • Fixed an issue where the challenge text could overlap the timer

  • Fixed an issue where the gravity would not reset after certain boss challenges

Adjustments/Improvements:

  • Refined the player controller so the player no longer bounces along the ground. This should make the characters feel much better to control overall

  • Increased turning radius at low speeds

  • Improved how jumps are handled: Instead of the jump charge going straight to 0 when leaving the ground, the jump's charge will now gradually decrease as you stay in the air

  • Jumps now have "coyote time" where if you leave the ground and have at least 90% of a jump charged up and then release it, you can still jump from the air as if you had jumped off the ground

  • Changed the named jumps ("big jump", "huge jump", etc) so that they display exactly how many seconds of air time you had after you land ("2 sec jump", "5 sec jump", etc)

  • You can now both brake and boost yourself while grinding a rail for finer control of your rail grind

  • Removed the Goldfish and Reverse Psychology perks (for now). No one was buying them, so they're going back to the drawing board for a rework.

Additions:

  • New perk: Feathery Flip - Trick speed increases for every empty perk slot

  • New perk: Tornado Twist - Every chainsawed tree increases your air rotation speed

  • New perk: Dust Devil - Get a speed boost on landing for every 360 spin in the air
