In September 2024, QANGA took its very first steps into Early Access. One year later, the adventure continues, and we wanted to take a moment to look back at the journey we’ve shared so far.

changedWith 21 updates in total, including 16 major ones, the game has changed dramatically. Today’s QANGA looks very different from what it was back in 2024. But this is just the beginning, and the months ahead will bring even more changes.
addedWhat We’ve Accomplished So FarSince its Early Access launch, QANGA has grown in many ways. The construction mode, which started out as an experimental feature, has received major improvements and now offers far more possibilities than it did at the start. Overall performance has also been significantly optimized. While this remains an ongoing process, QANGA is now much more stable and playable on a wide range of hardware.
addedWhat We’ve Accomplished So FarContent-wise, there’s been plenty of evolution as well. HOTAS support has boosted piloting immersion, while new types of Sanglines and their spawners have increased the variety of threats to face. The interface has been gradually reworked, especially inside cockpits, for greater clarity and realism. Weapons have expanded too, with new ranged and melee options, plus the ability to equip vehicles for combat. Along the same lines, both spaceflight and ground vehicle handling have been extensively overhauled for a smoother, more enjoyable experience.
addedWhat We’ve Accomplished So FarAnd that’s not all. Resource mining has made its debut, new locations keep being added on Earth and in space, and the AI has improved with better pathfinding and richer location generation. The police are now present in-game, with their system nearly complete, marking an important milestone in the evolution of QANGA’s world.
addedWhat’s NextFor the past few months, the team has been working on a brand-new internal mission creation tool. This tool is a game changer. It will allow us to create deeper, richer quests, and to do so more efficiently and quickly. This is a key step toward the future of QANGA.
changedWhat’s NextIts first real application will be a complete overhaul of the tutorial. Until now, the tutorial only lasted a few minutes and explained the basics of gameplay, such as Matter, recycling, inventory, and the jetpack, far too briefly. With this revamp, the experience will be fully reimagined: more organic, more immersive, and more narrative-driven. Players will be dropped straight into the action and the world of QANGA, with clearer explanations guiding them right from the start, just like a proper tutorial should.

What We’ve Accomplished So Far
Since its Early Access launch, QANGA has grown in many ways. The construction mode, which started out as an experimental feature, has received major improvements and now offers far more possibilities than it did at the start. Overall performance has also been significantly optimized. While this remains an ongoing process, QANGA is now much more stable and playable on a wide range of hardware.

The police are now present in-game, with their system nearly complete, marking an important milestone in the evolution of QANGA’s world.
All of this has been achieved in just one year by a very small team. It’s something we’re proud of and a huge motivation to keep pushing forward.
What’s Next
The universe is still being built, and some major transformations are on the way.
For the past few months, the team has been working on a brand-new internal mission creation tool. This tool is a game changer. It will allow us to create deeper, richer quests, and to do so more efficiently and quickly. This is a key step toward the future of QANGA.
Its first real application will be a complete overhaul of the tutorial.
This fresh start will also be the moment to introduce Tona, one of the central characters in QANGA’s lore, who will make their first appearance and guide the Cyborgs through their first steps.
The first stages of these changes can already be seen in Djibouti. A new building has been erected to house this new tutorial, as well as an entire city.
And this is only the beginning. In the coming months, QANGA will continue to evolve with a broader rework of missions and new ways to progress through its universe.
Thank You
This anniversary is the perfect time to say that none of this progress would have been possible without you. Your feedback, testing, and support have kept us motivated at every step of development.
QANGA’s journey is only just beginning, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
