removed🛠 FixesDedicated Server Owners, No More Manual steamclient.so : Linux dedicated servers now ship with the correct, up-to-date Steam file built in. Your server initializes Steam and registers with the master server on its own, so it shows up in the browser without any hand-editing. If your server vanished from the list after the 5.7 update, you no longer need the manual workaround from yesterday's PSA posted on steam discussions and on discord, a current install handles it automatically, and it won't need redoing on future updates.
fixed🛠 FixesEnemies & Combat (multiplayer) : Police and pirate cyborgs no longer sometimes lean over at a weird angle unable to aim, they now stand upright and aim properly, for you and for other players (fixed in single-player too). Leaping creatures such as sanglines, sand diggers and wall-climbers no longer jump on the spot on dedicated servers, their jumps and side-lunges carry properly online. More enemies can close in at once, the number the world can keep active at a time around you has been doubled. Fixed a crash that could hit during very large battles, with a big crowd of enemies, cyborgs, ships and pirates, fighting on screen at the same time.
fixed🛠 FixesTrams (multiplayer) : Fixed standing up from a tram seat leaving you stuck to it on dedicated servers (which forced a reconnect). You now stand up cleanly and can walk the moving tram freely, even at speed.
fixed🛠 FixesQuests & HUD : Fixed quest markers that could still blink on some rare occasions every couple of seconds on dedicated servers.
removed🛠 FixesWorld & Inventory : Sealed three gaps (inside and outside) on some variations of Relay Towers that let you see or fall through it. Items no longer all pile onto a single slot with only the top one usable in your personal storage chest, both the chest and your backpack now lay items out correctly across every slot.
