Patch Notes - Version 1.4
New Content
Weapons:
Added Pirate Musketoon.
Introduced Molotovs for explosive gameplay.
World Additions:
Treasure chests are now scattered across the island. Use them to replenish ammo and craft Molotovs.
Missions:
Second Mission:
Renamed from"Muggy and Buggy"to"I Know Why the Rum Is Gone".
Added dry tall grass, which slows player movement but can be burned with Molotovs.
Quality of Life Improvements
Visual Adjustments:
Swamp color palette tweaked:
Shadows are now less dark for better visibility.
Reduced bloom for a more balanced aesthetic.
Performance Enhancements:
Grass has been improved in both visuals and performance.
New Level of Detail (LOD) optimizations on objects have improved FPS by ~30%.
Added adjustable resolution settings for better customization.
Gameplay Clarity:
Tooltips added to checkpoints to clarify icons for dangerous and extremely dangerous creatures.
Known Issues
Molotovs require further optimization and may cause minor lag.
Undead pirate AI is in its early stages and will need future adjustments. This is just the beginning of their development.
Loading screens may take some time to load. This is an issue that I am currently working on resolving soon.
