Update Summary:

This update focused on fixing a bunch of bugs, improving the back end, and adding quality-of-life features.

One notable bug is the one where some players got soft-locked in the bar and couldn't progress. That's now fixed!

We added support for MSAA anti-aliasing, so you can enjoy the game with less flickering. It’s disabled by default, but you’ll find an option to toggle between None, 2x, 4x, and 8x in the System Menu.

You’ll also be able to skip the alleyway scene if you’ve already seen it once.

And last but not least, we added localization support for Simplified Chinese! It’s machine-translated, and not all game elements could be translated, so don’t expect it to be perfect. But it will make the game much more accessible to our Chinese-speaking audience.

Will the demo keep receiving updates?

We’re not quite done with bug fixes yet - we’ll continue to do regular maintenance work that will also carry over into the full game. Some small things like UI visuals will also be updated over time.

In fact, we will release another small patch early next month to fix a couple of other things.

However, we won’t be adding new content to the demo because we want to focus on making the full game happen, and this is about as much content as we want to show off in a demo.

Buy the full game once it's out to play more and support us!

Current Status:

Good news — we are now in full production! That means we’re working on content for the full game.

We’ve successfully hired a new 3D Artist, Programmer, and 2D Graphic Designer to support us. For a small team like ours, even three extra pairs of hands make a huge difference, since the game has a large number of assets to create.

Besides working on the full game, we’re also preparing a demo for standalone Quest users.

Keep an eye on our socials to see what we’re up to!
