addedProject Labyrinth — Development RoadmapWith Acts 1 through 3 complete, the game will be at what I consider 1.0 — full systems in place. Hopefully that means I can stop adding things, and just focus on finishing the game. With all my scripts and systems in place since I started, completing things that took weeks before, takes only a few hours. Its nice. Look forward to the rest of the game, and thank you for playing.

Project Labyrinth — Development Roadmap

✅ Act 1 — Was released in February, albeit a bit rushed and unpolished. Its been thorn in my side for awhile. So here is what's planned and being worked on, as I've continued to develop my skills and knowledge of game development.

🔨 Act 1 — Polish Pass (Target: August)

  • Weapon system overhaul

  • Stats overhaul — real decisions after fights, not just numbers going up

  • New music ( pretty excited about one track I've been working on.)

  • Extras — Fun stuff.

A little preview of some of the Polish, I updated Kobold Alice, aint he fierce? May release before Act 2 is finished. Steam post image

🔨 Act 2 — Finishing Up (Target: September)

  • Three Queen boss fights — Thera, Cassia, Melia — all complete with everything in between. Not much missing atm.

  • Expanded combat: per-weapon attack system, SEM chip parry economy

  • Major dungeon sections filled in.

  • Cutscenes in Act 2

  • The last boss of Act 2

  • Teaser credits for Act 3. What there's an act 3? Steam post image

Both the Act 1 polish and Act 2 will be out by September.

🔮 Act 3 — Planned (September – December, maybe late December)

Shorter in scope than Act 2, but still plenty to do and see. The calm before the storm if you will.

🏁 1.0

With Acts 1 through 3 complete, the game will be at what I consider 1.0 — full systems in place. Hopefully that means I can stop adding things, and just focus on finishing the game. With all my scripts and systems in place since I started, completing things that took weeks before, takes only a few hours. Its nice. Look forward to the rest of the game, and thank you for playing.
