Primordial Empire changes
Thank you every for a cracking demo launch and Earth Appreciation Festival! We are fast approaching 5,000 wishlists which is a great milestone in such a short amount of time (if you haven't wishlisted already please do!)
With the demo launch has come a great amount of feedback and we've made some changes to the demo which we have outlined below :)
As always, please keep the feedback coming in and we will continue updating the demo as development progresses!
New Vesicle Hubs start with Plasma-powered chain input filled
Mineral Extractor's Symbiotic Feeding chain defaults to high priority
Can now set hunting behavior of Feeder Hubs and Carnivorous Protein Factory (allow/ban hunting Stem Cells / Aminoberries)
Micro Agave now starts with 50 calories; food production never drains calories below 50 --> much more robust against starvation, using Symbiotic Feeding alone now more viable
Poison damage now bursts cells if they are at very low health
Bursting cells drop their resources
Enzyme- and Toxin production is now more lenient if inputs are delayed (1.2 -> 1.5 times the production duration as a "grace period" before the strategic resource becomes unavailable). Robust logistical setup still required, but will work much more reliably now.
Lancet Hive no longer costs Toxins to build, houses 4 Lancet Cells.
Can now switch between full screen and borderless window mode
Updated main menu logo and splash screen
Several minor bugfixes, most importantly: save/load system is now more robust when loading older save files.
This means you should be able to jump right back into your previous colony. If you encounter any issues/crashes, please notify me! Thanks and have fun 🙂
