changedHey everyone!I'm currently working on a world map comprised of interconnected areas called biome islands . Each island will have different conditions and resource distributions. That means colonies on each island will need to overcome varying environmental challenges and adopt different specializations. Here's an early preview: Steam post image
changedHey everyone!Established colonies can be connected through trade routes , which are vital links for exchanging resources. Each colony will be able to send out surplus resources and receive what they lack in return. Instead of every colony for itself, your collective will be a growing network of ecosystems collaborating to thrive and evolve.
changedHey everyone!Plan your expansions carefully, for each biome island favors different resources. You will have to coordinate your production and make sure all resources get to the right hands. This won't be easy, and you'll need help from professionals, something born for this important job. Meet the Carrier Tardigrades :

Hey everyone!

Spring has returned and life in the primordial soup blooms once more. It’s been a while since the last community post and this will be a good time to show some development progress of Primordial Empire so far this year.

I'm currently working on a world map comprised of interconnected areas called biome islands. Each island will have different conditions and resource distributions. That means colonies on each island will need to overcome varying environmental challenges and adopt different specializations. Here's an early preview: Steam post image

Established colonies can be connected through trade routes, which are vital links for exchanging resources. Each colony will be able to send out surplus resources and receive what they lack in return. Instead of every colony for itself, your collective will be a growing network of ecosystems collaborating to thrive and evolve.

Plan your expansions carefully, for each biome island favors different resources. You will have to coordinate your production and make sure all resources get to the right hands. This won't be easy, and you'll need help from professionals, something born for this important job. Meet the Carrier Tardigrades:

The Carrier Tardigrades are the mules of your collective, responsible for hauling resources along trade routes. While not aggressive predators, the tardigrades will be hardy creatures like their real life inspiration. These reliable workers will be travelling back and forth between your colonies in the full game, delivering crucial materials to sustain your collective.

Upon reaching their destination, the tardigrades will head towards the Trade Hub to deposit their cargo. This peculiar structure forms a symbiotic relationship with the carriers, giving them a home base in your collective. You'll need to grow this new plant to gain access to the world map, and tardigrades will be attracted to it whenever you need resources delivered.
