Hi everybody,
Primal Light 2.0 has arrived! This is a substantial update to the game that includes new art assets, New Game Plus (NG+) functionality, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements.
Below is the full changelog.
New environmental assets in many levels
NG+ functionality, where progressively difficult playthroughs unlock each time you beat the previous playthrough. NG+ and beyond have enemies with more health and a new enemy type deviously placed in a handful of locations throughout the game (Jeff and I may be adding more enemy variations in the future)
When you beat the game, your save file will automatically convert to NG+, but you can also start a new game choosing whichever NG+ you have unlocked
NG+ indicator now displayed on the Data Select Menu
NG+ indicator now displayed on the Inventory Menu
Video options (display resolution, vsync, screenshake, and screenflash) now save between sessions
Version number is now displayed on the Option Menu
Version number is now displayed on the Summary Screen
Debris particles in Level 10 are now crystals instead of wooden planks
Turkish language
Fixed misspelling of "anonymous"
Revamped save system. It should look and function exactly the same as before—just some back end changes were necessary
Fixed bug w/ some one-way platforms not allowing the player to drop through them
Adjusted position of currency counter farther right
Thanks to everyone in the Primal Light Discord who helped test the new functionality, reported bugs, and made suggestions. Jeff and I are humbled to have such an amazing community as you all.
