Howdy Krogophiles,
The second patch of Primal Light is live! This patch addresses additional feedback we received since last week's release. The most noteworthy item is a fix for a bug that was causing crashes for Mac and Linux users at the end of Stage 4. Below is the full changelog.
General
Audio settings now persist after closing the game (video settings to come in the future)
Damage buff duration has been increased from 1 sec to 2 sec
Added sign before big gap in Stage 1 that reads "Try a late jump!"
Added fog pit in ledge to ledge room of Stage 5, so players know it's bottomless
Widened Yeti hurt box
Changed Yeti position in Stage 6 challenge room
Added fog pit in ledge to ledge room of Stage 8, so players know it's bottomless
Added mouths to Stage 8 pre-boss room
Changed spikes to lava in one section of Stage 9
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue with game crashing on Mac and Linux at the end of Stage 4
Fixed issue with knockback charm applying buff if enemy was on left, regardless of whether it was equipped
Fixed issue with Stage 7 fireballs that stopped working after Update #1
Fixed issue with metadata (that is, stage, continues, and deaths) not resetting when you quit to main menu from pause menu, game over, or credits
Fixed issue with player's shadow not appearing at start of boss sequence
