Howdy Krogsters,
I am happy to announce that the first patch of Primal Light has just gone live! This patch addresses the most common feedback we received in the first 3 days after release. A summary of the changes is below.
General
The Select Difficulty Menu now shows a description of each difficulty
Beating the game on one difficulty will now grant you Steam achievements for any easier difficulty
Cutscenes can now be skipped by holding Jump, Attack, or Enter
Camera has been adjusted in various rooms making it easier to tell when certain jumps and falls are safe
Retracting platforms in Stage 3 have been fine tuned with longer timers and less possibility for going out of sync
Removed first merchant in Stage 8, for better balancing
Stage 9 boss adjusted to be more dynamic
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue causing player to get stuck in crouch mode beneath low one-way platforms
Fixed issue with bonfire activation persisting across save slots if you quit from the pause menu
Pressing slide while holding up on a ladder will no longer play the slide sound effect
Where possible, fixed bottomless pits so that coins do not bounce out of them
Fixed issue with getting stuck in the geometry on a certain transition in Stage 3
Fixed issue with enemy sprite overlapping door sprite in Stage 5
