addedPostcollapse update 1.14 is now available. This update adds a single new gameplay feature and a few minor improvements, here are the details:
addedPossibility to create own buildings The most requested feature since the last update was the possibility to create own buildings from scratch, so that you don't have to use an existing building and modify it. This is now possible. It was quite an undertaking to make this work together with the procedural generated world and the other buildings. It works like this: Right-click, select "construct" -> "facilities", and there are now three new entries, for creating various sized platforms for new buildings. Then you can select a place where to build the building. The game engine wasn't designed initially to support a feature like this, so there are constraints where you can place new buildings. The game will show red markers when you try to build the platform where this is not possible, like too close to another existing building, or on a tile border. In a future update, maybe it will be possible to lift these restrictions, but let's see. The building platform is then created with a click, and you can then continue and modify your building like any other building in the world, and fit it to your needs by adding and removing blocks as you like.
