Free Roam, Free Regert Update
Hey all,
We’re about to knock off for Christmas, and figured we’d help bring you some festive cheer by releasing a long overdue couple of updates. As of right now, the public release has been updated to 1.5.0 and brings with it some new features, mostly focusing on adding some freedom to the fun you can have with the game, while the public beta brings many new features and improvements to the co-op game.
A much requested free roam/sandbox mode as been added to the day selection screen. No need to finish the game or anything, it’s just there, ready for you to explore, with most areas from the main game being accessible. Many of the grind based achievements can be earned during free roam, too! We’ve also added an Enhanced game, currently exclusive to the PC version. This includes many modifiers such as gaining a midair jump, being immune to fire, starting with extra bonus items every day of the week, and more! Many weapons get various buffs and changes, we’ll let you play around with them to see what’s up. There is also a new feature in the main menu that allows you to pick beta branches directly from it, which include access to older builds of the game and also, the public beta which contains the updated beta version of co-op for up to four players! Co-op is now feature complete if not rather buggy, so we’ve hired a QA team to help us test it more ahead of its full release in a couple of months, but for now you are very welcome to join the public beta branch and give it a try. (Saves are not compatible between the public beta and default branches).
NOTE: Before publishing this patch we realized there has been a bit of amusing jank introduced with NPCs pathfinding if you turn away from them and then look back. They get confused for a few seconds on where to walk, to and then carry on as normal. We'll hot fix this as soon as a programmer is free, we just really didn't want to hold back this Xmas update due to it.

Steam build Number: 1.5.0.1 - Co-op beta (you must opt into the public beta to play co-op)
In order to switch to the beta branch, load POSTAL 4, then in the main menu select 'Beta Branches' and then 'Public Beta'. The game will shutdown and download the beta.
This beta branch includes all the updates from the 1.5.0 patch above, plus these co-op improvements from the previous beta:
-Pickups respawn per player death
Cosmetics replication/sync added
Scooter nitro replication added
NPCs react to players covered in blood after death feature added
