Police Adventure — Patches v0.006102–v0.006105

Hello, Officers!

This combined update covers all improvements introduced from v0.006102 through v0.006105.

The update expands the Convenience Store mission, adds direct companion commands, improves mission-result transparency, prepares the complete achievement system, and includes another major stability and compatibility pass.

New Companion Commands

Players can now give direct tactical orders to accompanying officers during supported playable missions:

  • 1 — Follow: Officers follow the player and maintain formation.* *

  • 2 — Hold: Officers remain at their current position.

  • 3 — Cover: Officers move into a supporting tactical posture.

These commands provide greater control over officer positioning and allow players to adapt their team’s behavior during an operation.

Convenience Store Standoff Expansion

The Convenience Store Standoff has received a major gameplay redesign.

All three available approaches now contain multiple tactical stages instead of resolving primarily through a single outcome decision.

Negotiation Approach

  • Negotiation now continues into an active clerk-escort sequence.* *

  • Players must manage the situation while protecting the store employee.

  • Officer positioning and command discipline contribute to the final result.

Rear Entry Approach

  • Players must disable the store alarm before progressing.* *

  • Surveillance evidence can now be secured during the operation.

  • The route places greater emphasis on stealth, preparation, and evidence preservation.

Breach Approach

  • Players must reach tactical cover before confronting the suspect.* *

  • The suspect’s weapon must be identified during the operation.

  • Officer support and equipment preparation now have a clearer effect on the result.

Tactical Suspect Commands

Each Convenience Store route now includes situation-specific suspect commands.

The selected command can influence:

  • Suspect compliance.* *

  • Officer safety.

  • Civilian protection.* *

  • Evidence quality.

  • Overall mission performance.

The mission now provides visible tactical modifiers so players can better understand the advantages and risks of their decisions.

More Transparent Mission Results

Mission outcomes now rely less on heavily hidden resolution rolls.

The updated system evaluates clearly identified factors, including:

  • Mission preparation.* *

  • Selected route execution.

  • Officer positioning.* *

  • Companion commands.

  • Suspect commands.* *

  • Equipment and facility support.

  • Command discipline.

Random variation remains part of operations, but it is now bounded by the player’s preparation and tactical performance.

Expanded After-Action Reports

The mission report now provides more information about how the final result was reached.

Reports can now show:

  • Individual officer contributions.* *

  • Equipment and facility support.

  • Companion command usage.* *

  • Selected suspect command.

  • Tactical checks that passed or failed.* *

  • The reasons behind injuries, evidence outcomes, rewards, and other consequences.

This should make successful and failed operations easier to understand.

Achievement System Preparation

The complete game-side achievement framework has been prepared for the upcoming Steam Achievements rollout.

The system includes nine achievements:

  • First Successful Deployment — Complete any mission successfully.* *

  • Precinct Proven — Successfully complete every Early Access mission.

  • Qualified Command — Complete the Officer Qualification Course.* *

  • Standoff Resolved — Resolve the Convenience Store Standoff.

  • Warrant Executed — Complete the East District Search Warrant.* *

  • Domestic Peace Restored — Resolve the Hawthorn Apartments Disturbance.

  • Pursuit Concluded — Resolve the Stolen Sedan Pursuit.* *

  • Warehouse Secured — Resolve the Riverside Warehouse Alarm.

  • Child Located — Complete the Missing Child Search.

Achievement Persistence and Offline Support

  • Achievement progress is stored locally.* *

  • Previously completed missions can be detected when loading an older campaign.

  • Older saves can receive matching achievement progress without requiring missions to be repeated.* *

  • Achievements earned while Steam is unavailable remain queued locally.

  • Pending achievements can be submitted when Steam becomes available again.* *

  • Duplicate achievement unlocks and repeated notifications are prevented.

  • Submitted unlocks remain pending until confirmation is received.

Display Improvements

  • Fresh installations now begin in fullscreen desktop mode.* *

  • Players who previously selected windowed or fullscreen mode retain their saved preference.

  • Improved consistency of the initial display configuration.

Mission Visibility Protection

The mission-camera and visibility protections introduced in v0.006101 remain active throughout these builds.

Thank you to everyone supporting Police Adventure during Early Access.

These updates strengthen tactical mission gameplay while preparing the game for its upcoming achievement rollout and the larger public v0.0062 update.

Stay safe, Chief!
