PLAYNESE: Master Japanese changes
Weekly Update Schedule
Playnese will now receive larger weekly updates, typically released on Fridays. Each update will focus on a core feature, alongside additional improvements and smaller enhancements.
The priority is to rapidly expand JLPT-aligned learning content over the coming months. This progression is designed to let players study, earn in-game currency, and unlock cards, items, songs, and more as they advance.

・ Steam Cloud support has been added, allowing your progress to sync across devices
JLPT N5 Quiz Expansion
100 JLPT N5 questions have been completed, featuring:
Coverage of nearly all N5 grammar, vocabulary, and kanji
Clear correct-answer indicators with green highlight feedback
Improved coloring for both day and night learning (reduced eye strain)
Proper furigana placement tailored for N5 learners
Detailed sentence breakdowns for better understanding
Improved kanji readability, with spaced hiragana (e.g. 勉強 = べん きょう)
Additional example sentences included in most questions
Ongoing expansion with more quizzes planned
Note: Higher JLPT levels (N4 - N1) will be expanded in future weekly updates.
New Camera Options
Two new camera perspectives are now available, adjustable at the switch in the classroom (subject to further refinement):

Field of View (FOV) Setting
A new Field of View option has been added to the settings:
- Higher FOVcloser zoom for improved awareness
Lower FOV: wider, more cinematic view
This setting can be adjusted alongside Rendering Distance to improve performance on lower-end PCs. Default FOV: 70
New Music Room Content
New songs added, complete with lyrics, furigana, and English translations:
長い = ながい = Long (Beginner)
家族 = かぞく = Family (Beginner)
鍵 = かぎ = Key (Advanced)
Additional Improvements
Updated character portrait display in the Load Game screen
Prevented event activation from excessive vertical distance
Improved kanji explanation page based on player feedback on Discord
Updated quiz reward sound effect with dimmed background for clarity
Camera adjustments (further refinements planned to not go through walls)
Fixed lighting issues appearing through roofs
