Regular Update v0.8.7

Buffs Part II and Quality of Life Changes

We are continuing to build on the new Buff system introduced in the previous update.

This is Part II, where we expand the system further and start shaping how it influences everyday gameplay, decision making, and survival strategies.

The goal is simple. Make your character feel more alive, more reactive, and more connected to the world around you.

New Buffs

We are introducing new positive and situational buffs that reward preparation, timing, and smart resource usage.

Survival and Condition Buffs

Refreshed Percentually decreases dehydration rate over time

Trash Diet Represents effects of consuming low quality food, adding more depth to survival choices Decreases stamina regeneration rate & passive health regeneration

Buff System Guidance

We have added in-game hints to help players understand how to deal with negative states.

You will now receive guidance for:

  • Intoxication

This makes the system more accessible while still keeping depth for advanced players.

Gameplay and Balance Changes

Added stamina consumption for firearms

  • Shotguns around -20 percent

  • Machine guns around -10 percent

  • Other weapons between -5 and -9 percent

This change connects stamina management with combat more deeply.

  • Loot amount increased to 2.0x (from 1.2x)

This shifts the experience toward fewer drops, but more rewarding ones.
