New Feature: Hard Mode (Roguelite) For those seeking a true challenge, we've added a new way to play Pixel Chess!
Roguelite Progression: accessible from the Main Menu.
High Stakes: If you lose a round, your Level resets to 1 and you lose 50% of your Gold.
Persistent Power: You keep ALL your purchased upgrades, allowing you to grow stronger with each run.
Victory: Survive past Level 16 to conquer the run.
Separate Save: Hard Mode has its own save file, so you can switch between your relaxing Normal run and your intense Hard run at any time without losing progress.
Other Changes
- Difficulty RebalanceAs previously announced, enemy scaling in Normal Mode has been adjusted (0.2x per level) for a smoother experience.
- UI UpdatesAdded a dedicated Hard Mode button and Victory Screen.
