Thank you to those who have already played the demo and left us feedback! This update addresses the most common issues we've seen and heard about from you. We are constantly working to make Phosfi the best game it can be, and your feedback is incredibly valuable to that process.

Patch Notes

Features/Changes

  • Made the jump snappier by modifying the jump impulse curve, increasing gravity and reducing hangtime. Other adjustments were made to maintain the same jump height and distance as before.

  • Increased movement speed while running and rolling in shell form by ~15%

  • Made some tutorial popups last longer on screen

  • Improved relic UI to better indicate which relics are active (all UI is still undergoing further improvements and is subject to change)

  • Increased invincibility frames after taking damage by ~40%

  • Cooking ingredients are now automatically picked up

  • Bouncing off a jellyfish now nudges the player into alignment with the resulting jump vector to help with platforming challenges.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a frame delay issue with attack inputs when FPS was low.

  • Fixed an issue giving players more hangtime on jumps that intended.

  • Fixed a bug causing dash not to reset when bouncing off a jellyfish in some situations

  • Added some missing controller button graphics for some controllers

  • Fixed an issue with control remapping between controller types causing changes not to persist across play sessions

  • Various UI fixes related to spelling and clarity
