NEW:

  • Equipment Items have been reworked, and can now function when dropped.**

  • PLAYER upgrades are now split into 3 'categories' and went from 3 > 9 upgrades. STAMINA, MOVEMENT, and OTHER. If you purchased any of the original PLAYER upgrades, they will be refunded.

  • 2 New difficulty modifiers Toggles. Fail Loss: incorrect guesses remove 25% of Bonus XP Death Loss: dying removes 50% of Bonus XP

  • Added physics to the Watch Arm. Bringing the watch up is also quicker, and a bit more consistent too.

  • New look to the settings menu, to better match the Main/Pause menu.

  • Separated upgrades into different categories, which can be individually shown, or all together. Also shows how many upgrades of each category you have unlocked.

  • Reworked how EMF, Parabolic Mic, and Spirit Box Evidence is given. Should improve Consistency between interactions, but Upgrades had to be re-created/re-coded.

  • Added a Player Animation Speed slider in 'gameplay' settings.

* Also makes future items easier for me to implement. Switching items is less prone to graphical issues now.

** All Items now function independently, instead of requiring the Player Controller. you shouldn't notice any major differences in the actual usage of the items.

*** You'll need to enable Perks in 'Difficulty Modifiers' they do not affect the reward multiplier. There are 15 perks across 3 categories. Perks lose their effect when the round ends.

Most of the reworked items function the same, except for the EMF reader and Parabolic Mic. The parabolic microphone will no longer require panning to get evidence from it, and can no longer trigger evidence from behind or to the side of it. The EMF reader will now be more likely to get readings in the direction its facing, it can still get readings from the side though. You may also notice it's a bit longer range than you're used to. When placing the reader, it may help to be a bit more strategic than just randomly placing. EMF Sources also now weaken overtime. And finally, the EMF reader will prioritize higher readings, so if a EMF 2 and 5 source are overlapping, you'll be given the 5.

UI:

  • Going into 'Mouse Mode' on the Main Screen will now hide the crosshair.

  • Caption settings will now only show if captions are enabled.

  • You can now see Evidence for each ghost type in the GHOSTS menu.

  • Renamed BUY EQUIPMENT to STORE.

  • Renamed UPGRADE YOUR EQUIPMENT to UPGRADES.

  • Added a 'Toggle Sprint' option in the 'Controls' Settings.

  • Limited motion blur to 0.5, changed the default from 0.5 > .3

  • Improved the Difficulty Modifier UI.

  • Increased Camera UI Size.

  • Tweaked the look of the Crosshair.

  • Removed 'Global Illumination' drop down menu, as it wasn't needed. The option to enable Global Illumination is still there.

  • Removed 'Global Illumination Quality' as it didn't have much of a Visual or Performance difference.

  • Made the 'PURCHASED' UI pop-ups smaller.

MINOR:

General

  • When a ghost ends a hunt, it now has a 20% chance to change rooms instead of 100%.

  • Ghosts are now more likely to spot you in the Dark.

  • Photographing with the Camera should now be more consistent
