The Urban Update, Part 1 is here!! Over 75 changes. a new map, ability, item, upgrades, ghost types, traits, and much more.
NEW:
New Small Map: The Police Station.
10 New ghost types.
Added 3 new ghost traits, Including Shy and Mischievous.
Added a new Ability every ghost can use, but mischievous ghosts are far more likely.
Added a Breaker System. The ghost and player can now control each room's breaker individually.
New Purchasable Item: the Cross. When Placed: Reduces chance of roaming/room changes. When Held: Reduces ghost Chase speed in a hunt. Both effects only work if the ghost is nearby.
- 2 new upgrades, all for the Cross. UPGRADE 1Increased Placed Area of Effect UPGRADE 2: Increased Held Area of Effect + Further reduces Roaming chance.
All new main menu & pause menu UI and SFX.
Added DLSS and FSR support.
You can now press E to quickly/easily open doors, without needing to click and drag.
Added Vent sounds, for Floor and Wall vents*
Added an Animation to the XP Progress Bar, and a Level Up sound.
Added Wall Panels between diner windows.
Lowered the HUNTER Level requirement from 10 to 5.
Changed how 'EMF Mix' Mixes. Should be a bit more consistent now.
Changed how 'Fingerprint + Footprints' works. Also should be more consistent now.
Items will now drop where you're looking at. So, you can now place items onto Tables, or counters instead of dropping them on the floor. It has a very limited range. if it's too far, it'll drop in front of you.
Your stress levels now need to reach a certain amount before ghosts are able to hunt. Typically a pulse above 100.
All new Clock sounds.
All new Light Switch sounds.
Some new Door sounds.
Some new Radio sounds.
* - I mentioned wanting to add Dynamic Ambience, This is part of it. All of the vents in a location will turn on and off at set intervals. Eventually, I want to do something similar for Outdoor ambience, and potentially other indoor sounds.
UI:
Clicking Mouse Mode on the Main Screen will move your character to a set position & rotation.
The GHOSTS menu is now auto-selected in the safe house.
The GHOSTS menu will now auto-select the last ghost type you encountered.
Replaced the Tablet Wallpaper.
Added an animation when Notes are successfully saved.
You can now press A/D (Left/Right) to switch between Tablet Menus. Will change to whatever keys your Walk Left/Right key binds are.
You can now press Space bar to open investigation notes.
You can now press RMB (By default) to exit Main Screen menus.
You can now Click to copy main menu credits (Names, Links, Attribution, and licenses)
You can now Click to copy Investigation Notes.
Entering the pause menu will now move your cursor to the center-left side of your screen.
Made Pause Menu Font Size more consistent.
Made Tablet UI Colors & Buttons more consistent.
Made the Mouse Mode button slightly bigger.
Made the Help menu button 1/2 it's original size.
Tweaked padding on the Control Overview UI.
Polished up the Upgrades UI, and Results UI.
Darkened the Side Investigation drop down menus.
Removed "Preview Settings" button from the Settings Menu, as it wasn't necessary.
Removed "Bug Report" button. I don't get notifications for it, and so far, it hadn't been used. It would also show the user's google account, so it could be bad for Streamers using display capture.
MINOR:
Player Footstep sound Volume is now based on Speed. Walking & crouching is quieter
