This change is the result of a commitment to quality and the unique identity of the project.

I. THE NEW RHYTHM SYSTEM: EXECUTION AND CONCENTRATION

The central interaction system (the purification of guilt) is no longer a simple quick-time event, but a high-concentration Rhythm System.

  • Core Mechanic: Inspired by rhythm games, visual Guilt Circles shrink toward Elias's staff.

  • Requirement: The player must achieve perfect execution by pressing the prayer button exactly when the circle impacts the staff.

  • Professional Design: The system implements configurable timing windows ([c]Perfect/Good/Miss[/c]), a five-layer audio system for feedback, and subtle visual effects that intensify the pressure without being intrusive.

  • Outcome: Traditional combat is replaced by moments of elevated tension where perfect concentration is the only path forward.

II. TACTICAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: THE FAITH SHIELD

To complement the new dynamic, a layer of tactical management and defense has been added.

  • Function: The Faith Shield is a crucial tool for controlling the spectral threat.

  • Gameplay Balance: Activation consumes 5% of the Faith resource and has a 1-second cooldown, preventing spamming.

  • Tactical Use: It immediately repels specters like the Wraith and can interrupt the dangerous charge of the Seeker. After successful use, the specter is inactive for 3 seconds, offering a tactical respite.
