Improvements

Gameplay

  • Adjusted buyer spawn behavior: stores with more displayed items will now attract more buyers. As the number of displayed items decreases, buyer interest will also decrease.

  • Customers waiting in the checkout line will no longer leave the store after closing time. Only customers who are still browsing will leave when the store closes.

  • Disabled locking the player while a customer awaits item delivery. From now on, players will be able to move and interact freely while customers await item deliveries.

  • Added a maximum attraction cap for items. Item attraction can no longer exceed 100.

  • Added the option to sell back purchased furniture.

  • Showcases with lids can now be opened and closed while placing an item.

  • Added a special box variant for expired pawn items. These boxes now appear with a green “EXPIRED” label.

  • Disable collisions between the player and the robot cleaner.

Reputation

  • Reworked the review calculation for customers rejected at checkout (by pressing X). If the current reputation level is below 3, these customers will no longer leave a review. Doesn't apply to buyers who agree to pay an item's list price.

  • Removed the review categories “Overpriced Item” and “Broken Item.” Customers will no longer consider item price or condition when leaving store reviews.

  • Reduced the reputation appeal bonus by 50%.

Qualifications

  • Removed the following qualifications due to limited item availability: 'Electronics Dealer License', 'Media License', 'Rare Books License'. Items in these categories are now automatically unlocked.

User Interface

  • Added color indicators to the customer interaction panel to represent different customer types.

  • Added a rebind option for the key that opens the bug report screen. This option can be found under Settings → Controls → General.

  • Added a dedicated UI indicator for scavenged items. Instead of the text “Bought for $1”, a green “Scavenged” label will now appear.

  • Added two more unique UI indicators to appear when looking at pawned item boxes. If the current day is their delivery date, the red image with “TODAY” will appear. If it’s already expired, a green icon with “FORFEITED” will appear.

Scavenging

  • Reduced the overall condition and rarity of items found in trash cans and dumpsters

Attraction

  • Added attraction bonuses for synergistic items. Creating synergies between multiple items now grants additional attraction bonuses.

  • Added an item synergy overview. Looking at an item for 1.5 seconds now displays its current synergy links.

  • Added attraction bonuses for matching age types. Items from the same age category now boost each other’s attraction.

Bug Fixes

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where items rarer than the current reputation level allowed could spawn.

  • Fixed an issue where customers attempted to move near the storage door and could become stuck due to navigation obstacles. Customers will no longer try to move near the storage door.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing customers to get stuck waiting for a spot until they ran out of patience after beating someone with a slipper inside the store.

  • Fixed an issue where players could become trapped in the storage area due to furniture placed behind the storage door. Items and furniture can no longer be placed near storage doors.

  • Added a system that prevents customers from waiting in front of the storage door and blocking it.

  • Fixed an issue where buyers could abandon purchased items if interrupted before picking them up. These items could become uninteractable and disappear after reloading the game.

User Interface

  • Fixed an issue that caused item attraction indicators to disappear while placing items.

  • Fixed the price calculation for the bundle on the OKEI store home page.

Save System

  • Fixed an issue that caused the UI SFX volume setting to reset each time the game was launched.

Pawning

  • Fixed an issue that could incorrectly apply “Returned Pledger” penalties.

  • Fixed an issue where players could receive double payment when a pledger redeemed their item.

  • Fixed an issue that caused duplicate returning pledger data to be saved, resulting in multiple pledgers attempting to redeem the same item. Note for existing save files: For saves created before this version, existing pledger data will be ignored. If you have previously pawned items in those saves, their pledgers will not return.

Security

  • Fixed an issue that could cause items recovered by law enforcement to be delivered multiple times.
