changedDear Pawn Shop Owners!Today, we want to share some news about the game's future and introduce Steam Trading Cards. We’re also amazed that some of you have already played for 50 hours just a few days after launch!
addedSteam Trading CardsYou can now get Steam Trading Cards while playing the game. Trade them in for Badges, Backgrounds, and Emojis. Each card shows original artwork by Elif Esen Gökçe!
changedRoadmap RevealOver the past few days, we’ve been reading your reviews, checking forums, and following Discord to help us decide what to improve next. We know the main problems are the game’s pacing (it gets boring after a few hours :<), the limited number of items (right now, there are 223), and the inability to hire workers (not only cashiers, cleaners but also security).
addedRoadmap RevealSome of these changes will be quick to add, but others will take longer. NPC Workers aren’t listed below because we’ll be working on that feature at the same time as the others, and it’s the most complex one.
addedRoadmap RevealWe plan to add 50 new items each week across categories such as household items, computers, phones, gardening tools, construction tools, jewelry, and more.

Dear Pawn Shop Owners!

Roadmap Reveal

Over the past few days, we’ve been reading your reviews, checking forums, and following Discord to help us decide what to improve next. We know the main problems are the game’s pacing (it gets boring after a few hours :<), the limited number of items (right now, there are 223), and the inability to hire workers (not only cashiers, cleaners but also security).

Some of these changes will be quick to add, but others will take longer. NPC Workers aren’t listed below because we’ll be working on that feature at the same time as the others, and it’s the most complex one.

We plan to add 50 new items each week across categories such as household items, computers, phones, gardening tools, construction tools, jewelry, and more.

If you have suggestions for items from a certain category, let us know. Or maybe you have a funny idea? Like an alien in a jar?

Fixes & Gameplay Balance

We’re currently working on update 1.0.5, which will bring gameplay improvements, clearer UI, and several bug fixes. You’ll see better UI feedback, like color indicators for customer types, a new “Scavenged” item label, and synergy view when hovering the placed items.

We’re making the store flow smoother by changing how buyers are drawn to displayed items, letting you sell back furniture, and ensuring customers in the checkout line don’t leave after closing. We’re also balancing the review system, removing unfair customer evaluations, and adding new item-attraction bonuses based on the group size of synergistic items.

There will be more changes in 1.0.5, and you can even join the early tests on our Discord! ---

Thank you and hear you soon!
