Since then, we have been hard at work fixing bugs reported by our players, as well as continuing to forge ahead on some upcoming changes and additions. Our top priorities right now are getting Class Mastery fully implemented and functional for all of our active adventuring classes and investigating problems related to NPC pathfinding and movement through water.

Here’s what has been happening this week behind the scenes:

Design and Narrative

  • Finished adding interactive doors to the Port of Rulun.

  • NPC population work in Detihauna and Kosa Minor.

  • Updating base abilities and Class Mastery for Paladins and Dire Lords.

  • Finalizing the design for Class Mastery for Wizards, Enchanters, and Summoners.

  • Additional tuning and itemization work for levels 1-30.

  • Systematically investigating and fixing bugs reported by our players.

  • Continuing to evaluate player feedback on Class Mastery and combat.

Worldbuilding and Environment Art

  • Adding some mysteries to Badia de Cara for players to discover.

  • Final polishing for cavern areas in Badia de Cara.

  • Detailed set dressing for Detihauna.

  • Finishing touches and more collision fixes for the Port of Rulun.

  • Verifying LODs for props used in Badia de Cara and Port of Rulun for optimal client performance.

  • Continued concepting for modular Elven dwelling kit for Faerthale City and outlying areas.

Character Art and Animation

  • A few last NPC variations for BDC named and rare opponents.

  • Finished the Obsidian Crocodile NPC model.

  • Working on updating some player character animations.

  • Race/Gender adjustments for universal armor meshes and prep for import into engine.

  • Continuing detailed concepts and building blockouts for Lucent, Ashen, and Ember elf customization options.

Programming

  • Investigation into pathfinding and water-related bugs with NPCs.

  • Investigation into bugs impacting class abilities and class mastery.

  • Continued work on itemization and crafting data support.

  • Continuing work on market system UI (browsing/search window, listing management) and prep for data connections.
