First up: We are officially participating in the 2026 Secret Sauce Showcase!

We couldn't be more excited to be featured alongside so many other incredible games. Be sure to tune in on July 16th at 1pm ET to see an exclusive first look at the latest from Palettopia + celebrate all the amazing games featured in this showcase.

Which brings us to our next big announcement...

The Palettopia Playtest is open for sign ups!

To get ready for the festival, we are officially opening sign-ups for our upcoming playtest, running from July 16th through July 23rd!

We’ve been pouring our hearts into bringing the cozy world of Palettopia to life, and we are so excited to invite you to test it out. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we want to work alongside you to make this experience as vibrant as possible.

What to Expect: Creative Mode Preview

For this specific playtest, we are focusing entirely on Creative Mode. We want to hand you the brush and give you a pure, relaxing building experience.

This is just a small slice of what the final game will offer! We have many more features, systems, and layers of gameplay coming in later versions, but for this week, we simply want you to kick back, paint, and let your creativity run wild.

How to Join the Playtest:

  1. Head over to the main Palettopia Steam Store Page.

  2. Scroll down to the"Join the Palettopia Playtest"section.

  3. Click the"Request Access"button.
