The Agricultural Revolution

We’ve introduced a dedicated Agriculture District that brings a real breath of fresh air to your skyline. Painting these districts fills your canvas with lush, verdant greens, golden grains, and springing sprouts.

What makes Agriculture so special is the beautiful visual contrast it brings. Because these districts naturally lay a bit flatter, they provide a much-needed, relaxing break from the verticality of your bustling industrial and residential zones. We’ve even added wind-physics to the crops! You can literally watch your fields of wheat gently sway in the breeze as you plan your next expansion. Whether you’re painting a sprawling, self-sustaining countryside or carefully balancing your cozy city's resources, the fields are yours to plant.

Parks 2.0: The Entertainment District

With the arrival of formal Agriculture, we’ve taken the opportunity to reimagine how "green space" works in Palettopia. Your previous Park slot has evolved into a much more robust Entertainment District!

This is where your Palettopians will go to celebrate the arts, relax, and socialize. Instead of just dropping in some trees, these vibrant areas are now filled with:

  • Grand Fountains: Intricate, bubbling water features that serve as the perfect cozy centerpiece for your neighborhoods. (Water effects coming soon!)

  • Monuments: Beautiful statues and landmarks that celebrate your city’s unique history and culture.

This change allows us to distinguish between the functional greenery of a working farm and the ornamental, relaxing beauty of a city square, giving you so much more creative control over the exact "vibe" of your utopia.

What’s Next?

We’ve covered the tech, the art, and the mechanics! To wrap up this series, we’ll be sitting down with the mind behind the blueprints in our Meet the Dev finale.

What kind of farm animals should we add to the Agriculture District - pigs, cows and chickens? Let us know in the comments!
