Playtest #4 Is Almost Here!
The wait is almost over. Our 4th playtest is taking place from July 9th to 13th, and it’s easily the biggest ORMOD update & playtest yet.
Over the past few months, we’ve been rebuilding and refining huge portions of the game based directly on player feedback.
This playtest introduces massive improvements across nearly every aspect of the game, from smarter enemies and redesigned interiors to a brand-new mobile base, upgraded systems, and significant performance optimizations.

Completely redesigned interiors
New tutorial systems
New mobile base
Redesigned UI, inventory systems, and upgraded crafting mechanics
New Mechanoids!
Completely overhauled Mechanoid AI & Hordes (they can now hunt, search, retreat, stalk, evade, and work together more intelligently!)
New Mechanoid types and Mechanoid Horde system
New animations and weapons
New weather systems
New points of interest
New traders, auto-turret protection, secret stash & possible player-made shops!
Quick-craft, item throwing, and easier interactions
Redesigned scopes and improved audio
Major optimization and performance improvements
We’re especially excited about our server improvements, and we’re aiming to support 200+ player servers this time around!

Special Events
Hidden Special Event & Server Slam (Friday, July 10th) We’re asking everyone to jump into a single server and push things to their limits! The goal? Break things, stress test the servers, and help us prepare ORMOD for the future.
Creator Event (Saturday, July 11th) We’ll also be hosting another creator event over the weekend. More details will be announced soon!
