addedHave you always been, like us, tempted to just rip out your opponent's heart after winning a fight in an FPS game? If so, we've made your gory dream come true. No need to thank us! With the latest update, we've introduced the player’s ability to deal deathblows and smoothed out several aspects of the gameplay to deliver an even more exciting gaming experience.
changedDeathblowsFrom now on, when you weaken a Space Zombie sufficiently with kicks and bullets, it’ll be highlighted with a red outline and the words "Finish Off" will appear. Pressing the button you assigned to the interaction will perform a finishing move, where your character will crush the zombie's skull with a boot or rip out its heart. The poor little thing will even continue to beat for a moment.
changedLadder SystemThis is one of the larger fixes, and while less noticeable, it should improve the overall gameplay experience. Your character will now only grab ladders upon actual contact with them, rather than from a distance. This should eliminate those frustrating moments when you started climbing when you didn't mean to. Problem solved.
changedMinor fixes:We've improved how the player holds onto climbable ropes. From now on, climbing should be faster and smoother.
fixedMinor fixes:We've slightly redesigned part of the ninth floor, to the right of where you descend the ropes in the elevator shaft.
addedMinor fixes:We've added a bit more gore here and there—just to spice things up.

Howdy Miners!
Have you always been, like us, tempted to just rip out your opponent's heart after winning a fight in an FPS game? If so, we've made your gory dream come true. No need to thank us! With the latest update, we've introduced the player’s ability to deal deathblows and smoothed out several aspects of the gameplay to deliver an even more exciting gaming experience.
Deathblows
If stepping on zombies' skulls or ripping out of their skinny chests the still-beating hearts is your thing, you've come to the right game.
From now on, when you weaken a Space Zombie sufficiently with kicks and bullets, it’ll be highlighted with a red outline and the words "Finish Off" will appear. Pressing the button you assigned to the interaction will perform a finishing move, where your character will crush the zombie's skull with a boot or rip out its heart. The poor little thing will even continue to beat for a moment.
Ladder System
This is one of the larger fixes, and while less noticeable, it should improve the overall gameplay experience. Your character will now only grab ladders upon actual contact with them, rather than from a distance. This should eliminate those frustrating moments when you started climbing when you didn't mean to. Problem solved.
Minor fixes:
We've improved how the player holds onto climbable ropes. From now on, climbing should be faster and smoother.
We've slightly redesigned part of the ninth floor, to the right of where you descend the ropes in the elevator shaft.
We've added a bit more gore here and there—just to spice things up.
The cracked wall concealing the Glowing Ice lump that triggers the Challenge can now be broken with any weapon, not just a pickaxe. This should make things easier when you're not in the mood for physical exertion.
