One More Run changes
New Features
Multiplayer has been added, supporting up to 8 players. Multiplayer leaderboards have also been added
Significantly expanded skill trees have been added for all classes:
Fighter - 8 new Major nodes and 12 new Minor nodes have been added to the skill tree
Mage - 10 new Major nodes and 9 new Minor nodes have been added to the skill tree
Rogue - 7 new Major nodes and 15 new Minor nodes have been added to the skill tree
Ranger - 7 new Major nodes and 12 new Minor nodes have been added to the skill tree
Cleric - 7 new Major nodes and 13 new Minor nodes have been added to the skill tree
2 new Major nodes, 2 new Minor nodes and a new Capstone has been added to the shared skill tree
A new "Core" module slot has been added. This slot will provide a new type of meta progression as the game continues to develop
A new "Firmware" module slot has been added. The defining characteristics of class mechanics have been lifted over to this firmware slot to enable new build defining itemization
The game's first ever Unique module has been added - a Fighter exclusive Firmware that fundamentally changes how the missile launcher behaves when equipped. This module was designed by the season 1 winner, Trashmanworx!
The Rogue now has a new class ability - cloaking. Enemies will wander aimlessly while the Rogue is cloaked, but the cloaked Rogue can still take hits
A new Emergence league mechanic has been added. Search for and close the rifts beginning to open up across Hintervale Clearing to discover a powerful new crafting method, and unlock a new Rift tree that greatly alters how the Rift mechanic behaves
7 new Emergence League skill achievements have been added
4 new world events have been added
A new Dodge rare suffix has been added
Steam Cloud save is now supported
Tim the Gnome has a new friend who definitely isn't an upcoming miniboss in disguise. If not friend, why friend shaped?!
Balance
Bosses now drop bonus loot the first time they're slain, but less loot on following kills
Caustic Burst now triggers at any corrosion intensity 5 or above, has increased radius, and transfers 100% of corrosion intensity to enemies instead of 50%
Enemies now gradually gain status effect resistance over the course of long runs
Reload and Magazine Size affixes are now available on Fighter and Ranger modules, rather than being Rogue exclusive
Fighter's base missile count has been increased from 5 to 15
Scavenged Plating now scales with the last 60 seconds worth of kills, rather than 30
The Elemental Attunement node gives 15% critical chance instead of 30%
Elemental Attunement now only rewards mana on weapon critical hits, rather than critical hits from all sources
Elemental Attunment no longer requires an upgrade. It's active the moment it's chosen
Mana Barrier now provides 25% increased mana regeneration rate in addition to its other effects
Elemental Damage and Concentrated Effect upgrades now provide an additive bonus rather than multiplicative when taken consecutatively
The Elemental Damage upgrade has been reduced from 40% to 35%
The Concentrated Effect upgrade has been reduced from 80% to 70%
Orb spells no longer scale their travel distance with projectile duration. They still scale with effect duration though
Ice Spike projectiles travel 2x faster, but have half the duration
Concentrated Effect is no longer available for Ice Spike
Arc Rifle's base damage has been reduced from 235 to 155
Arc Rifle's attack cooldown has been reduced from 110 ticks to 85 ticks
Arc Rifle's magazine size has been increased from 10 to 12
Arc Rifle's reload time has been reduced from 2s to 3s
Arc Rifle's bonus energy damage on critical has been decreased from 30%/60% (with Voltaic Cascade) to 20%/60%
Particle Cannon is now a Hybrid weapon (50% Kinetic damage, 50% Energy damage) rather than Energy. It has no ammunition or reload requirement though unlike other hybrid weapons. The overcharged shot is still 100% energy damage
Particle Cannon's base damage has been increased from 85 to 102
Spirit Projector's base life regeneration per spirit has been reduced from .50 to .15
Spirit Bond's life gain per spirit bonus has been reduced from .25 hp/sec to .15
Gravity Gun's base damage has been increased from 85 to 120
Gravity Gun's charge damage multiplier now scales to 4x at max charge instead of 3x
Divine Fortitude no longer gives a flat armor bonus, but provides +350 HP instead of +250
The Attack Speed upgrade now provides 4% reduced attack cooldown instead of 5%
The Reckless Attacks upgrade now provides 8% reduced attack cooldown instead of 10%
Movement speed has been rebalanced. Overall it takes more attribute points now to reach target movement speeds for certain enemies and bosses
Enemy scaling has been adjusted in favor of higher hp at more difficult zones, and lower damage. Overall, enemies will be tankier as a means of providing difficulty, and 1 shot deaths will be less common
Enemies no longer stack. They now have a minimum separation based on their size. Bosses and flying enemies are the exception to this
The Fool's Gold world event is no longer available. It may come back down the road in a less busted form
The range for the Relentless affix has been reduced from 5-10% Frenzy, to 3-8%
The Frenzied Execution node now provides 10% Frenzy instead of 15%
The Growth node on the shared skill tree now provides 3% Attribute Scale instead of 4%
The Wisdom node on the shared skill tree now provides 4% XP gain instead of 5%, and no longer provides XP Magnet
The Clear Skies world event no longer provides a flat range bonus in addition to the percent bonus
Enemies now have a thaw mechanic - the longer they're frozen, the more freeze applications they need to stay fully frozen. This freeze resistance resets if they ever fully thaw out
Optimization
The game client has been entirely replaced with a new client running on a new engine. This has unlocked true threading and hardware acceleration. This new client has first pass optimizations, but I'll be able to still squeeze quite a bit more performance out of it over the next few months
Bug fixes and minor tweaks
Story interaction delivery has been reworked to eliminate the "wall of text" effect. My writing is just as long-winded as ever though :P
Damage logs have been added to the end screen
Leaderboard point allocations have been flattened a bit to make top 100 placements more valuable, rather than Season 2's heavy prioritization of top 3
Added Steam Friends List Rich Presence support to show current league, class, and level
