Special Update: Demo and Kickstarter Launch

I'm happy to announce that we'll be releasing our game demo and launching our Kickstarter over the next week!

Steam Demo/Prologue - July 25

Beginning Thursday you'll be able to play our demo on Steam! This demo is actually a hybrid game demo and preview of the main story. Half will be devoted to content not in the actual game while the other half introduces the prologue and first ~15 mins. of the actual game.

The reason for this split is that the two pair rather well. The demo features a vertical slice of gameplay elements you'll discover throughout the game including party swapping, equipment upgrades, on-map encounters, and event-based instant victory. Since the story in the demo is canon, it felt natural to extend it into the prologue (the beginning of the full game) so that players can see the conclusion of the events.

Kickstarter - August 1

The following Thursday, on August 1st, the Kickstarter will finally be launched!

Our focus with the campaign will be to finance two talented composers, bringing them on to the team to create the official One Fenix Down OST. We even have a special guest who will be collaborating on the main theme provided that we can hit our first stretch goal.

Demo/Prologue Preview

Play as the mysterious Chichioku and the steadfast Iron Guard as they witness the invasion of the Kingdom of Torloria. Utilize mid- to late-game skills and mechanics as you control the party of veterans. Try to unravel the identity and purpose of these invaders -- why pillage this peaceful kingdom? Why now?
