Odyssey Releases in 5 Days

After nearly 5 years of cold, hard development, we're finally ready to fully unleash Odyssey to all lovers of adventure RPG games! When I originally began envisioning Odyssey, I thought to myself that it should be "just one step above a simple RPG Maker type". Just an easy to process, "numbers go up" JRPG with a beefy story with rich lore, and call it a day. Fast forward just shy of 5 years later, and we see that is not how things turned out. What we have now is a massive game, with so many moving parts! Is any of it any good? Well, I guess you'll be the judge.

So what IS Odyssey of Dremid'ir?

For the uninitiated

Odyssey is an RPG set in the fantasy bronze age world of Dremid'ir. The player will embark on a quest to seek out the city-state of New Bastion, getting caught up in politics, wartime, and even more frightening monsters that hide in the ruins of the world. Expand your party throughout the story, and become more powerful, using your party members' unique abilities to conquer opponents.

After the game releases in the coming week, we over here at Chiaroscuro have a lot of planned support for the game.

Admittedly, most of the planned updates were meant to be base game content, and were scrapped for time. With the power of the internet, however, we plan to patch in many of these lost quests in free content updates over the summer following release. This will start prepping us to start launching the BIG expansions that will carry on the big plot elements from the base game's story.

All-in-all, the future is looking bright, and I hope everyone is prepared to see everything we've poured our lives into for nearly the last half decade! See you on April 24th, where you'll also get the chance to buy the game at a limited time discount price!
