addedWhen we attended Steam Next Fest in June, 2023, we had no clue just how novice we really were; our trail was hot, and needed to be even hotter, but it was the greatest trip we'd ever had in terms of engaging an audience, and receiving feedback on what we had developed -- it was still everything we hoped for and more. Since then, it's been about ~8 months, and we haven't stopped chugging away! To show off our progress, we're ecstatic to launch our brand new trailer!
addedDemo V0.7We realize our game isn't a routinely updated/played multiplayer game, but we still enjoy updating our demo when we can, as we think transparency, and giving anyone new a chance to play a superior experience is important. We would be here all day if I listed every change in the new demo version, so I'll highlight a couple things to monument our progress:
changedDemo V0.7Overhauled Day/Night, now environment/NPCs react to time of day
changedDemo V0.7Most characters/environments have been visually updated/completely redrawn (looks much better)
addedDemo V0.7Overhauled item balance, added more items
addedDemo V0.7Updated cinematics for a much better experience (Some voice acting may now be missing as new lines haven't been recorded by the actors yet)

We've also been incredibly active on our social medias, heavily documenting our game dev progress, and sharing our hard learned lessons along the way; you can also check out our "Making of" series on our Youtube page while checking out the trailer for an in-depth look at what our development has been like!

Demo V0.7

We realize our game isn't a routinely updated/played multiplayer game, but we still enjoy updating our demo when we can, as we think transparency, and giving anyone new a chance to play a superior experience is important. We would be here all day if I listed every change in the new demo version, so I'll highlight a couple things to monument our progress:

  • Overhauled Day/Night, now environment/NPCs react to time of day

  • Most characters/environments have been visually updated/completely redrawn (looks much better)

  • Overhauled item balance, added more items

  • Updated cinematics for a much better experience (Some voice acting may now be missing as new lines haven't been recorded by the actors yet)

  • More streamlined combat, easier and more polished playing experience

  • Menus are more organized, and display better information about abilities/items

  • More optional dialogue with NPC's to engage with

  • Added a couple of new achievements

These changes may seem very "general", but they are all a key to creating the best overall product as possible. Worry not, for we've also addressed many small bugs/niche problems that have been observed, too. We're in our stride, however, since we're such a small team, we've decided to push our release date back a final time: April, 2025. Good luck, and happy hunting the new demo achievements!
