Noxia Somnia changes
Noxia Somnia released 1 year ago today
And we couldn't be more thankful for the community that's supported us every step of the way! Because of players like you, we've been able to continue development of the game into something bigger and better than we ever could have imagined. Which brings us to the news we have to share about Noxia Somnia: Ultimate Edition...
Updates on Ultimate Edition
With all the love and work we’ve been putting into Ultimate Edition, we feel that the game is deserving of its own Steam store page as a standalone product. This page will be going live for wishlists shortly - and we'd really appreciate if you could help spread the word once this happens!
Did we mention that Ultimate Edition is a huge update? Don't just take our word for it... see for yourself in this new teaser trailer just how much the game has evolved.
Everyone who buys a copy of Noxia Somnia on Steam before Ultimate Edition is released will receive a complementary version of Ultimate Edition as a thank you for your support. (PS: Noxia Somnia is also currently 30% off too!).
After the release of our demo, we got some great feedback that we've put into Ultimate Edition. Players felt that Act 1 looked pretty similar in the Ultimate Edition demo to how it looked in the base game - so we’ve made massive visual upgrades to go along with the polished gameplay style. We’ve also fixed minor user experience issues that popped up, like some text boxes staying on screen too long.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled devlog…
The Reaper
The Abyss. The End. He can take many names, but here, he is known as The Reaper.
The Reaper is one of the new enemies exclusive to Ultimate Edition. And we honestly think he just looks so cool, that we had to show you a preview of his combat sequence (spoilers, of course!)
More new abilities in Ultimate Edition
We're bringing you even more ways to spice up your combat style in Ultimate Edition.
Reframe is a new move exclusive to the Ultimate Nightmare difficulty mode in Ultimate Edition that lets Tristan parry an incoming attack and counter with a high-damage punch. This will be one of five new skills added to the skill tree in the Ultimate Nightmare difficulty mode.
Second Wind is a new ability available in all difficulties of Ultimate Edition that allows Tristan to unleash his true power.
Thank you for your support
