Since last version, many improvements, new features, and fixes have been implemented to make the game richer, smoother, and more strategic. Here’s a quick overview of what I'm working on!
⚔️ Brand-New Combat System
The combat system has been updated since the first version to provide more dynamic and tactical battles. Expect more variation in combats through abilities.
🧪 Abilities Are Here!
Introducing a brand-new Ability system:
Items and characters can now hold special abilities, some with conditional triggers.
A dedicated Ability capsule in the UI lets you see the abilities attached, with its description in a tooltip.
Lots of unique abilities have been added: Wandering Soul, Veil of Retaliation, Heartpiercer, Amber Edge, and more to discover.
📜 Your Own Adventure Journal
A new Journal system will soon track key events, discoveries, and goals. You’ll never lose sight of your journey again.
🌍 New Stories and Discoveries
The world has been expanded with new context-based stories, including:
Unique events for travel and terrain types.
Interactions with non playing characters.
Special events triggered by your level, choices, or actions.
✨ Other Notable Additions
Bug fixes.
Tweaked balancing.
Massive internal refactors for easier features addition.
🔍 And Finally…
This update also focused on quality of life improvements and preparation for the Steam Next Fest, with a trimmed down demo version made just for the event. Tons of bug fixes and under the hood optimizations have been completed.
