addedAlmost 13 years, one rainy november night, as I was going back from the work, I had an idea which I immediately shared with my closest friend. 'Let's make a game for young adults', - went I. 'Something light and funny'. That's how Non-Fellows , our first project was born. Non-Fellows , by the way, is not a broken translation, but you will learn more as you play. We were inspired both by western point-and-click adventure games, more specifically, then popular hidden object genre, and Asian visual novels. We decided to make an episodic project - a new episode was supposed to be released every month, just as the tv show. We've managed to gather a team of people whose dream was to make games. We had absolutely no experience, and lot of stuff we have to find the hard way. We made mistakes, discoveries, and eventually, on 1st of September, 2011. we've released first 3 episodes of Non-Fellows . At this time, Steam was not so wide-spread, moreover, to publish something you had to go through rather tricky process of Greenlighting your game, when it had to be approved by community. Just to think Steam published about a dozen games a day back then! So the only option we could think of was just to publish it on our own site. However, self-publishing in the West is the tricky business, and ultimately we had to go to the publisher. Players loved Non-Fellows , and we started to work on fourth and fifth episode, but, unfortunately, some disagreements with the publisher forced us to stop development.
addedA lot has changed since. Some of us couldn't keep following the dream, they got a job, a family. We had to postpone game development, but we never stopped dreaming. And now, it's time to start some new projects. But the first game will always have its place in our hearts, no matter how clumsy it is. And so we want to share it with you.
