Work continues on 1.0, but we wanted to take a moment to fix some outstanding bugs with the live game and to update the Roadmap to start to shed some light on what's coming with 1.0.

We tackled a number of the items that were at the top of the list when we compiled the backlog one year ago.

Crash Fixes
We've fixed 20+ over the last year. Including a few that affected 500+ yir saves!

Animal Reproduction, Subject Consolidation, and Farming QOL
The Riverlands Update brought these alongside the Halflings, High Elves, flowing water and a number of other improvements to the mid/late game.

Conversation Delegation
Evangelization arrived to take the burden of Improving a Mortal's Opinion of your Ruler off of your plate.
Raised Buffed Skill Cap
Giving your best gear to your best Mortals is now rewarded properly.

1.0 Roadmap
Here's the updated Roadmap that'll get us to 1.0.
Notable Additions...
Hauling Efficiency
We've reworked Hauling in 1.0 to improve efficiency. More details coming as we get closer to release, but the early results are very promising.
Prop Improvement QOL
Rebuilding Props for better Quality and Prestige at the risk of loss is not great gameplay.
So we've uh... Rebuilt it.. 1.0 includes the ability to Improve Props - guaranteeing that they won't get worse even if they don't get better.
Leveling QOL
We're reworking Ability Selection to remove RNG and to prove choices tailored to each Mortal that can be influenced.
Oh! And...
Uh... Well... I guess we can't talk about those yet... Stay tuned!
Early Access Content Promises
We're set to deliver on our Early Access Content Promises with 2 small exceptions.
First, we're foregoing the introduction of multiple new Monster Species to focus our efforts on depth with the Demons and Kin. We prefer depth to quantity, so we think this is a solid trade to make.
Second, instead of offering a third Starting Scenario, we're putting effort into refining the Heavy is the Crown experience and expanding the breadth of the Choose your Fate Experience for 1.0. Again, we're choosing to focus on depth at the cost of breadth here - we think it's the right call.
We've either already checked all the other boxes or are on track to do so for 1.0.
There are also some very exciting unpromised Content and Features that land as part of 1.0 that we can't wait to talk about.
Post 1.0
We have some plans for what we'd like to tackle post 1.0.

This update is compatible with existing Saves.

This update should be compatible with all v0.31 Mods.

Updates like these arrive on the Experimental Branch first.

1.0 Progress
Work on 1.0 continues.
We've wrapped up the core of the Feature work for 1.0 and are finishing out the Content now. From there we tackle Bug fixes and remaining polish.
There's still a lot to do, so it'll be a bit - hang in there!
