Nitro Kid changes
We're excited to share that we've updated the game with new difficulty modes, unique agent buffs, and other improvements!

New features and balance:
New difficulty modes:
Simulation: Heal 30 HP at crystals, start with an Avatar Patch giving +1 Energy, basic cards are already upgraded, start with $200
Reality: Heal 30 HP at crystals. 25% bonus score and experience
- Security 0Heal 20 HP at crystals. Increased enemy damage and HP, Removing a card and upgrading a patch costs $25 more. 50% bonus to score and experience
Temporary and unique Player Buffs now show in the Player Buff UI
L33: Maximum Effort and Recursive Method.
J4X: Underdog, Square Up, Paw, Magic Mitts, Ego Boost, Divine Fists
Infusion: Aluminium
Small improvements to the Codex and Unlock Intel UI
Show version number, seed and difficulty in-game
Show Hero Patch in hero selection, and make loadout minis hoverable
Added deck count UI
Removed Beelzebub from the normal Patch pool (it needs a design rework)
Redesigned Commander Boss
Reduced the Brain enemies’ Shield gain from 3 to 2
Slightly reduced the following enemies’ HP values:
Business Act: All normal enemies, The Scientist, and The Fire Warden
Mech Act: Battle Mech, Buff Bot, Tackle Bot, Flame Bot, Auto Gunner, Technician, Shield Turret
Slightly reduced the following enemies’ Damage values:
Business Act: Shotgun Yuppie, The Fire Warden, The Founder
Mech Act: Battle Mech, Pursuit Bot, Tackle Bot, The Test Subject, The Broodmother
Experiment Act: Cadet, Aberration, Prodigy, Poacher, Radiation Bot.
Increased the damage of The Vine Queen and her Shrubs slightly.
Increased The Vine Queen’s strength gain on Bug Card played from 2 to 4.
K31 Balance Changes:
Small Bore - Increased Chamber value by 1
Bullet Witch - Changed effect text from “Whenever you Chamber while at max Ammo, Gain 1 Strength.” to “Whenever you Chamber beyond your max Ammo, Gain 1 Strength.”
Opening Shot - Reduced Damage from 5 to 4
L33 Balance Changes:
Death Strike - Reduced Energy cost from 2 to 1
Firestorm - Increased Energy cost from 1 to 3, increased effects by ~300%
Discombobulate - Increased Damage by ~50%
Replaced 1 Block Card from L33’s starting deck
Added a new Card “Qi Pulse” to L33’s starting deck
+30 XP after every run
Bug fixes:
Fixed Bibliophile Achievement being stuck on 19/22
Reduced Saviour Achievement Kid's saved goal from 1000 to 250
Backup system for safe files in case of file corruption
Fixed Twins boss soft lock issue
Fixed burn damage on Dragon Punch+ and Erupt+
Fixed bug when selecting cards for Upgrade, Remove, and Tutors (Assassin, Stoke the Fire, etc.) in very large decks
Boomtouch doesn't apply to Plutonium anymore
Cockroach now can't be removed in Events
K31's Tech Expert Patch now can't upgrade Tactical Reload
Fixed Copper Infusion + Cost Up Cards
Cost reduction effects aren't given to cloned cards
Fix Ambush Event lock for when Player enters with 1 HP
J4X’s Power Drain card now affects Strength from Golden Glove correctly
Maximum Effort + Push Kick now targets correctly
The Hornet’s Damage on Card play is no longer increased by Security levels.
