fixedSince the recent engine update, we have observed a significant drop in mission 9's frame rate, which appears to have been exacerbated. Our internal testing conducted a few weeks ago revealed that it was more severe than anticipated. Consequently, we have diligently worked to identify the cause and address the problem. We successfully resolved the issue yesterday, and today's patch aims to rectify the configurations that were adversely impacting the game's performance.
changedHence, the latest update should substantially smoothen the gameplay experience in mission 9 and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience and negative experiences you may have encountered. Additionally, we have upgraded the AI behaviors of enemy ISA destroyers in the same mission, making them more intelligent and challenging to defeat. These changes are designed to improve overall enjoyment and engagement during the mission.
changedNote that the system impacted in mission 9 is also used in mission 5. Consequently, the changes made should improve the framerate and smoothen gameplay experience for mission 5 as well.
changedWe have also adjusted the sky rendering setting in missions 7 through 11 to reduce the strain on your GPU, resulting in further FPS improvement.
changedFurthermore, we've re-tuned and remixed all sound effects in the game to vary in loudness based on distance, providing a more sensible and less frustrating audio experience.
changedRegarding sound, you may have questioned why space battles feature sounds similar to those on Earth. Lore-wise, the battle's space environment might contain trace gasses that allow for minimal sound transmission. The speakers inside the Battle Frame then amplify the volume, aiding the pilot's situational awareness. While we hope this explanation addresses your curiosity, a certain degree of suspension of disbelief may still be necessary.
