Nexus Legacy changes
Mining Fleet Combat
Mining Fleet Attacks can be launched from planets, moons, or Alliance-controlled stations containing your personal fleet.
Players with Combined Operations can create combined attacks against mining fleets. Alliance members can join through Alliance → Convoys using fleets from planets, moons, or stations.
Every participant’s own research, leader bonuses, Command Vessel effects, and hangar configuration are calculated separately.
Battle reports include all attacking and defending participants.
Debris created by these battles is initially visible to battle participants before becoming public.
If the target mining fleet leaves before the attackers arrive, the attack is cancelled safely and the fleets return with a report.
Mining Fleet Defense
You can now send a defensive fleet to your own active mining fleet.
Combined Operations allows you to defend mining fleets belonging to Alliance members, allied Alliances, and personal allies.
Defensive fleets remain stationed with the miners and participate if they are attacked.
Incoming mining attacks now include a Send Defense action in the Fleet interface.
Field Scan reports also offer a defense action for eligible friendly mining fleets.
Defensive fleets automatically return when mining ends, the miners are recalled, the target disappears, or the diplomatic relationship no longer permits support.
Mining fleet attacks now generate proper browser and in-game warnings for the miner and their Alliance.
Command Vessel
Direct Command Vessel relocation is now represented as a real mission in the Fleet interface.
Command Vessel movement can be tracked and recalled like other fleet missions.
If the destination becomes unavailable while the Command Vessel is travelling, it returns safely.
Command Vessels can now accompany asteroid field scans and pirate camp reconnaissance.
A Command Vessel equipped with espionage capability can perform supported reconnaissance without accompanying recon ships.
Command Vessel movement and reconnaissance received additional queue-recovery protection against interrupted or duplicated processing.
Reconnaissance
Planet, Moon, Outpost, Station, asteroid field, and pirate camp reconnaissance now consistently accepts only:
Probe
Spy Probe
Stealth Ship
An optional Command Vessel
Reconnaissance missions use peaceful travel rules instead of strategic combat-fleet timing.
Pure recon fleets retain their dedicated rapid-launch profile.
Failed or interrupted reconnaissance is recovered safely without repeating random results or leaving fleets stuck.
Fleet Travel & Interface
Debris collection now always uses the peaceful travel profile, including pre-positioned collectors and collection near contested stations.
Fleet cargo and mining-resource values are displayed as whole units instead of unnecessary decimals.
Source Moon names are now shown correctly for incoming mining fleet attacks.
Fleet-slot calculations are now consistent across ordinary fleets, patrols, Command Vessel movement, stations, moons, outposts, and Rift operations.
New Player Start
When a new homeworld is created, its starting system is guaranteed to contain an ordinary Ore Belt if none currently exists.
If an older belt was completely depleted, a later newcomer can create a replacement.
The field uses the normal richness and resource rules for its security zone.
