Nexus Legacy changes
AI OFFICER: SCATTER
Scatter is now a true evacuation mission instead of transferring the fleet to another colony.
Fleets return to the same colony after 30 minutes and consume hydrogen for the full round trip.
Active rules, priorities and enemy strength are rechecked shortly before departure.
Healthy and damaged ships are evacuated. Damaged ships consume fuel but provide no cargo capacity.
Resources exceeding storage capacity when the fleet returns are lost.
Scatter processing is atomic, preventing duplicated fleets, resources or fuel deductions.
CARRIER OPERATIONS
Carriers can now be assigned to Fighters, Bombers or Assault Shuttles when dispatching fleets.
Carrier Operations research now correctly increases effective hangar capacity.
Assignments are supported across regular missions, mining, expeditions, wormholes, pirate camps, moons, outposts and stations.
Defensive assignments can be saved for moons, outposts and station garrisons.
Combined battles preserve each player’s individual carrier assignments and bonuses.
All assignments are validated against the carriers and supported craft actually present.
COMMAND CENTER
A new empire-wide Infrastructure table now displays:
Building slots and construction queue usage
Active or paused research and construction
Ships being built, repaired or dismantled
Moon activity beneath its parent colony
Live timers and queue statuses
Empire-wide totals
Entries can be opened directly. The table also supports responsive horizontal scrolling on smaller screens.
SHIPYARD FIXES
Fixed shipyards occasionally remaining locked after an upgrade.
Planetary and orbital construction lanes now pause and resume independently.
Recovery logic now handles stale paused jobs and outdated building states.
Paused ship and building queues are displayed correctly in the Command Center.
RESOURCE DISPLAY
Fixed alloy production appearing to continue when ore or silicates had been exhausted.
Planet and moon resource bars now display the effective production rate based on currently available input resources.
Production resumes automatically when the required resources become available.
CONNECTION AND PERFORMANCE
Fuel estimates are now debounced when fleet selections change rapidly.
Identical requests are combined instead of repeatedly reaching the server.
System loading and fuel estimation now use separate retry limits.
These changes should reduce unnecessary “Too Many Requests” errors during normal navigation.
Related interface text has been updated across all supported languages.
