Nexus Legacy changes
Moons, Salvage, Expeditions, Patrols & Alliances**
Moon Warfare
Colonized moons can now be targeted by dedicated Recon, Attack, and Allied Garrison missions.
Moon attacks support both solo and combined assaults.
Moon operations can be launched from planets or other moons.
Attacking a protected moon displays a pact violation confirmation before dispatch.
Moon Economy & Shipyard
Damaged ships stationed on moons can now be repaired.
Repairs use an available Moon Dockyard, or a stationed Repair Ship when the dockyard is unavailable.
Repair costs, duration, queue state, cancellation refunds, and damaged ship reservations are handled consistently.
Moon production now refreshes correctly after relevant research is completed.
Energy and production research bonuses are applied separately and consistently to lunar buildings.
Salvage Operations
Fleets can now be pre-positioned to salvage future debris at planets, moons, sector stations, outposts, and pirate camps.
A dedicated Salvage action and icon have been added to the galaxy map.
Pre-positioned fleets only collect matching debris created after they were dispatched.
A fleet returns empty if no qualifying debris exists when it arrives.
Existing debris fields can still be collected directly as before.
Any compatible cargo ship can collect debris, while additional ships may accompany the fleet as escorts.
Salvage is now a continuous loading operation rather than an instantaneous claim.
Cargo capacity and applicable ship bonuses are respected throughout collection.
When several fleets collect the same field, available debris is distributed proportionally according to the work contributed by each fleet.
Fleets return when their cargo is full, the field is exhausted, the field expires, or no additional resources can be loaded.
Existing anomaly and system debris remains compatible with the regular collection flow.
Expedition
Fleet composition now has a meaningful effect on expedition outcomes.
Stealth Ships improve the chance of detecting and escaping pirate contact in the Dead Zone.
Scouts provide the corresponding pirate-warning role in the Rift.
Hacker Ships improve the chance of upgrading the quality of Dead Zone expedition loot.
Artifacts & Expedition Depth
Expedition artifact drop chances now depend on both the expedition zone and depth.
Dead Zone expeditions focus on common and rare artifacts, with deeper expeditions shifting the distribution toward rare finds.
Rift expeditions can produce every artifact rarity.
Deeper Rift expeditions improve both the overall artifact chance and access to higher rarities.
Artifact Analysis is still required.
Existing artifact, commander, and account bonuses continue to modify the base result where applicable.
Rift expeditions now use their intended depth range.
Patrol Improvements
Route Patrols now protect both endpoint systems rather than only the selected endpoint planets.
Hunt Patrols now separate reconnaissance and combat roles: recon ships discover pirate camps, while combat ships suppress mining raids.
Partial pirate-camp intelligence persists between patrols.
Camp intelligence and visibility reset correctly when a destroyed camp respawns.
Sweep Patrols retain partial clearing progress instead of losing incomplete work between ticks.
Sweep Patrols no longer remove minefields belonging to alliance members.
Overlapping patrol effects use the strongest applicable patrol instead of stacking every patrol together.
Patrol completion reports now show mines cleared, camps revealed, intelligence gathered, raids prevented, spy attempts affected, and incoming mines intercepted.
Patrol loot reports now display only the cargo that was actually delivered after capacity limits.
Merchant Contract
The former Bounty Board is now presented as Merchant Contracts.
Contracts can request pirate camp destruction, anomaly investigations, wormhole exploration, or deep-space expeditions.
Contract generation respects the research available to each player.
The same activity cannot be counted repeatedly toward a contract.
Contract rewards can include rare resources and are delivered correctly to the selected planet.
Sector Stations
Owned sector stations now receive passive resource income from mining completed within their sector.
Station income supports both basic and rare resources.
Income is periodically settled into station storage and appears in the activity log.
Resources that cannot currently fit remain pending rather than being discarded.
Pending income belongs to the station and follows it if ownership changes.
Station battle debris is now associated with the station where the battle occurred.
Defense fleets are no longer incorrectly recalled while committed to an active capture operation.
Alliance Diplomacy
The number of simultaneous Alliance pacts is now limited.
Non-Aggression Pacts remain unrestricted.
Breaking an active Alliance pact applies a replacement cooldown to both alliances.
Alliance capacity and the remaining cooldown are displayed in the diplomacy interface.
Existing Alliance pacts will be converted into Non-Aggression Pacts so alliances can deliberately rebuild their diplomatic structure.
Existing pending Alliance proposals will be cleared.
Ending a pact now reconciles planetary and lunar garrisons and refreshes alliance-dependent production effects.
Additional Fixes
Shipyard cards now display technology-adjusted ship speed.
Ship detail pages now display the same effective construction time used by the shipyard.
Cancelling a Laboratory upgrade no longer resets the visible progress of paused research.
Laboratory power settings are preserved when paused research resumes.
