Nether Spirits: Beyond the Gate changes
Features
🧾Story Nodes: Get a first glimpse into the world of the Nether with 6 decision events, each with a fullscreen artwork. This is just the beginning of the feature! In the future there will be NPCs, travel decisions & lore. Steam post image

Improvements
🛜Network traffic usage reduced by 84.5% from on average 110 kbyte/s to 17 kbyte/s by sending single ECS components from server to client (similiar to delta compression)
🎯Optional Targets: You can now play cards that used to require 2 targets with only 1 target if it's a positive effect. Example: Great Roar II-B now let's you push up to 2 cards instead of exactly 2 cards.
🏃Option to Disable Animated Attacks. This allows you to have a more strategic overview with for example "Static" mode vs. a more cinematic feel with the "Enabled" mode. If you like things absolutely still, you can also choose the "Disabled" mode.
Enabled → Zoom-in + animated attacks
Static → No Zoom + static frames of attacks
Disabled → Static characters
Bugs
Fixed: Fallback bot mechanic in PvP mode when no player is found
Fixed: Co-op partner had same rewards as player
Fixed: “Overpower” card did not provide any block at all.
Known issues
Rage is not shown in preview value of attacks

Cards
Delicate Thorn: Increase Thorns gained by 1 from 3 to 4 ⬆️
- Searing CoreCost decreased from 1 to 0; Removed block based on Rage, but you gain Block whenever you gain Burn. ⬆️
- Survival of the FittestReworked Upgrade B ➡️
- HubrisSoft Rework -> Has now 2 Charges and Banish. Making it easier to play, but removed Advance. 🔄
- Numb to PainIncreased base damage from 5 to 6. ⬆️
- Echidna's CunningSoft Rework -> Has now Banish, Cost reduced to 1, reduces all enemies' strength by 4 while in queue. 🔄
- Echidna's FangsSoft Rework -> Now deals poison and heals for flat amount. Adjusted Upgrades accordingly. 🔄
- CollapseSoft Rework -> No longer removes armor. Increases damage by 2 now instead of 1 (+ current armor). Has “Banish” and cost increased to 1. 🔄
- CullingBase damage increased from 9 to 10. ⬆️
- CleaveBase damage reduced by 1, from 2 to 1. ⬇️
- Combat ReadyBase block reduced by 1, from 3 to 2 ⬇️
- Crushing BlowBase damage increased, from 14 to 16; Upgrades adjusted accordingly ⬆️
Overpower: Now gains Block equal to 2x your Strength to your team → Previously did “1 + 1 per Strength”⬆️
- SpitefulReduced Vulnerable amount on discard from 2 to 1. ⬇️
Seize the moment: Replaced Hasten-effect with "slow up to 2 cards"; Upgrade B allows you to slow up to 3 cards. ➡️
Bane: Now has the “Fading” Keyword for easier play. ⬆️
