Neptune Flux changes
Changes
Music cues for specific locations will now play any time the player is nearby, and not just at the start of a mission.
Added a new music cue for the Explorer mission.
Some tools will now highlight in situations when they can be used most effectively.
Edited dialogue in the Back in the Saddle mission.
Edited dialogue in the Genesis mission.
Updated several mission descriptions to better reflect certain plot points.
Some collectible items near the Genesis mission were removed for better game balance.
The cost of the dive pod upgrades Transducer Refit and Laser Diodes were increased for better game balance.
Decreased the default cash balance at the start of the game.
Removed a large, inconsequential hole in the terrain near A.Q.U.A. Base to reduce confusion at the start of the game.
Fixes
Made some optimizations to world loading and asset streaming that reduce the memory footprint of the game on disk and while running.
Improved overall performance by migrating assets in the Genesis mission to load asynchronously.
Fixed an issue where the mission log could become activated incorrectly.
Fixed an issue where the player could dock while using a tool.
Fixed an issue where some menu text was too bright.
Adjusted timings for cash rewards on mission completions to better align with dialogue.
Sarah will now cycle through all available dialogue options when interacting with objects, instead of making a random choice on every interaction. This reduces the chances of repeated dialogue for most interactive objects.
