Hi everyone!
This update focuses on smoother gameplay across the board, especially on Steam Deck. The game launches cleanly, runs better, and keeps all text fully readable with adjustable size. No launchers, no extra DRM.
Key improvements:
The outline effect now uses precomputed values and a simpler shader path, cutting down GPU work while keeping the same visual result.
- Background systems have been trimmedfewer component lookups, reduced per-frame checks, and proper shutdown of background tasks in Unity (coroutines) after scene changes to avoid unnecessary processing.
Memory use is tighter, loading spikes are reduced, and graphics settings scale more efficiently on lower-end hardware to avoid stutter during busy moments.
These changes make gameplay feel snappier and lighter, especially on lower-end hardware and Steam Deck.
