Neon Inferno changes
Hi everyone! Today, in preparation for Steam's upcoming Cyberpunk Fest and Neon Inferno's upcoming Daily Deal, we're releasing Patch #4 for Neon Inferno, which is another minor patch containing a few small improvements to the game. This patch is now live on Steam, and it will roll out to consoles as well over the next couple weeks.
Patch Notes
- Controlsadded a 100ms buffer time to most actions, to resolve some players' issues with inputs occasionally getting eaten
- Controlsfixed issue where "fast crosshair" setting would reset to default upon section transitions, if changed from default
- Player animationsadded transition frames to background shooting and background turns
Player animations: both protagonists' jackets now smoothly settle into their run animation, instead of snapping downward
- Player animationsfixed minor one-frame visual bug in certain cases when the player turns around
- Co-opadded arrow indicator for off-screen player
Survival Mode is still in development and should release fairly soon, along with a number of more substantive improvements. We're busy at Zenovia Interactive; we are already well into pre-production on our next 2D action project, with full production starting in 2 months, and we have a couple other projects in early stages of development as well. You'll be hearing more about these soon.
Thanks for reading, and as always, I hope you have fun with the game!
