Nearly Dead - Live and Let Die changes
1. Added new area and added boss
A new stage has been added. A group of survivors who are not related to the players have built a camp and are being attacked by zombies. The players set out on a journey with the hope that they will be safe if they enter the camp. There is a huge zombie guarding the entrance, so the players must break through it and enter the survivor camp.
However, the journey to the survivor camp will not be smooth for the players. The path to the survivor camp is blocked by an unidentified giant zombie, and no one has seen its true form yet.
2. Survivor Camp
Another group of survivors have built a camp based on the military base. They are fending off zombie attacks from inside. However, due to recent fierce battles, the number of defending troops has been greatly reduced.
The defending troops will protect the players and fight together. The goal for the players is to reach this camp.
3. Added in-game upgrade function
Now, the upgrade that was done using gold teeth in the title can be done in-game as well. In-game upgrades use the upgrade points that you get when you acquire blueprints. So, previously, you could upgrade up to 5 slots, but now you can upgrade up to 8 slots by adding 3 in-game upgrades to 5 gold tooth upgrades.
This allows us to adjust the value of discarded blueprints and add randomness to the in-game.
If you get a powerful bonus from the first in-game upgrade, the game will be very smooth.
** When you research, you can gain experience for your weapon when you kill enemies. This experience can be used to get upgrade points.
4. Adding new enemies
With the addition of a new area, various enemies have been added. In particular, the zombies that have turned into combatants in the survivor group have very strong attacks, so be careful.
In addition, there are enemies that throw mud that impedes the player's movement, and zombies that spread their attacks in difficult directions, so please be extra careful.
5. New accessory added
A force field has been added. As the attack power of new enemies has been further strengthened, players also need a means of defense. Force Field is an accessory that provides additional defense for a certain period of time when attacked. However, most Force Fields do not work well with ranged weapons, so you should read the tooltip carefully before using them.
6. Accessory Swap Possible
We wanted players to have a play experience using various weapons. However, since the existing system required weapons to be combined with accessories, it was almost impossible to play with pistols and rifles interchangeably. However, since each weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses, there was the inconvenience of having to change accessories depending on the situation in order to play optimally.
To solve this, we added the accessory swap function. This makes it easier to play by using a halberd when fighting many enemies and a dagger when fighting a boss.
Since this is a function for players who are skilled at playing, we made it possible to unlock it through research.
7. Apply Save/Load Slots
LLD was originally a game made exclusively for multiplayer. However, as it has been proven that many players enjoy playing as a single player, the save slot function has been added. Now, up to 3 save slots are supported, making it easier to play with various characters.
8. Addition of farmable corpses
Some corpses will now remain corpses instead of becoming zombies. You can now search these corpses for items. In the future, it will be used more actively to create a dark atmosphere.
9. Others
Several chronic bugs have been fixed.
Several BGMs have been added. A number of achievements have been added.
