I’m glad to announce that the long-awaited by many full controller support update is live now! If you’re a mouse & keyboard hater, and you have been waiting for this since the early access release, this is your chance to finally try out Mycelium with your favorite controller.

Aside from that, this big update also features some player progression reworks, balance changes, 3 new achievements, lore additions, cosmetics, and of course bug fixes.

The player progression changes you’ll see in this update are just the beginning of what I’ve planned. In further updates, aside from new content, you will see more reworks such as player levels, tokens, and prestige system, so stay tuned for those as well.

Thanks to your immense support and feedback, Mycelium is getting better with every update. I am really grateful to have such a positive community that dares go to the dark forest over and over again to uncover its secrets.

IMPORTANT: After you update the game, all the outfits and colors you have in your lobbies will be wiped! From now on those are bound to your profile, not lobby. As an apology, outfits will spawn more frequently for a limited time.

FULL UPDATE #2 CHANGELOG:

NEW FEATURES & CONTENT:

  • Full controller support

  • 3 new achievements

  • 3 new pins

  • New Codex entries

  • Player statistics

CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Outfits are now bound to players, not lobbies

  • Colors are now bound to players, not lobbies

  • Your outfit now saves when you quit the game

  • Your room color now saves and will be applied whenever you claim a room

  • Global voice chat volume decreased by 30%

  • Decreased the number of Eggs that can spawn during an egg event

  • Decreased Eyeless attack radius

  • Increased Mycelium Tree orbs loudness and radius

  • Changed settings and menus UI

  • Changed first launch settings UI

  • Player list is now a part of game menu

  • Added nickname filter to Invite Player

  • Changing microphone in the settings doesn’t require a restart anymore

  • Room claim button changed to interact button

  • Changed hints in backpack

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed equipment upgrade list showing the wrong order of upgrades

  • Fixed red key spawning upside down sometimes

  • Fixed stuck loot that couldn’t be picked up

  • Fixed player list getting stuck on screen

  • Fixed equipment crates being invisible for clients in the lobby

  • Fixed equipment crates showing wrong icons for clients

  • Fixed mission timer going into negative values

  • Fixed mission never ending if a player got disconnected

  • Fixed Red Door portal not working properly

  • Fixed Blue Door could lead into stones/trees sometimes

  • Fixed inventory bugging out on holding the inventory button

  • Fixed some weird battle music starting when fighting a Souldigger

  • Fixed extraction not working if someone died upon interacting with it
