A New Tutorial and Improved Options

Hi everyone, Manuel here, the developer of Mutation.

I’ve noticed that many content creators and players weren’t satisfied with the tutorial, and to be honest, I wasn’t either. I apologize for that! At the time, I didn’t have enough resources or time to create a better experience.

Today, I’m excited to announce that a brand-new tutorial level is now available with the latest update! This updated tutorial covers the game’s core mechanics, providing a much smoother introduction to Mutation.

I’ve also noticed that some players weren’t seeing any changes in the options menu when tweaking settings. This was because many didn’t press the “Apply Changes” button. After watching several streams and receiving feedback, I decided to implement immediate application of settings. Now, any changes you make should take effect right away.

Note: The "Windowed Fullscreen Mode" currently doesn’t adjust resolution properly when changed. This bug will be addressed in the next hotfix, which will be released soon.
