Mushrooms vs Engineers changes
New Features
Evil Beam (Evil Upgrade) - A new weapon upgrade that fires an evil beam piercing straight through every mushroom in its path. Upgrade it further with More Evil Beam (extra damage) and Chonky Evil Beam (extra width).
Spawn Indicators - Mushrooms now telegraph where they are about to appear, giving you a moment to reposition before they arrive.
Gold Spores Rework - Gold Spores are no longer spent in the shop. They are now a persistent collectable currency, tracked as a running total across your run.
Accessible Font Option - A new option to switch the entire interface from the pixel font to a cleaner, more readable font. The whole UI rescales to match, so every menu and HUD stays neatly laid out.
Other Changes
Brighter CRT Filter - The CRT screen effect no longer dims the picture so heavily. You keep the scanlines, curvature and vignette, just with a brighter image overall (with an extra boost on Steam Deck).
Wave Complete Screen - Rewritten with rich text formatting for a clearer, more readable summary.
Tidier Shop - Maxed-out upgrades now take up less vertical space in the shop.
Controls Reminder - The game now reminds you of the controls if you haven't dashed yet.
Refreshed and added new mushroom artwork, and tweaked the engineer's shadow.
