Patch 0.7.0 - Diplomacy, Consequences and Allies take action

addedOnce again, thanks to everyone for participating in Mr. President’s Early Access! We’re finishing April with more features and bug fixes. The Summit Player Action has been added, so you’ll be able to reach out to Russia and China to look for ways to meet mutually beneficial goals. On the opposite end of the diplomatic spectrum, Impose Sanctions has been added to your presidential toolkit. Will you use the carrot or the stick to accomplish your foreign policy goals? While you’re negotiating, the U.S.’s Allies and Adversaries are also taking more actions of their own during the Allies & Rogues Group Acts segments.

addedNew FeaturesAdded Diplomatic Action: Summit. Meet with Russia or China to achieve diplomatic goals.
addedNew FeaturesAdded Diplomatic Action: Impose Sanctions. Add Sanctions to global adversaries. These sanctions will slow them down when next they try to act on their own.
addedNew FeaturesAdded Unilateral Ally actions to Allies & Rogues segment. Allies will take their own independent actions as well as joint actions with the US. This is where Allies’ tension levels really start to matter! The higher their tension totals, the more aggressive and risky their unilateral action choices will be.
addedNew FeaturesAdded North Korea Action. The hermit kingdom will also be able to act during their Ally & Rogues segment, a situation worth monitoring.

New Features

  • Remaining US Cyberattacks have been added. You can now Cyberattack Iran or North Korea’s Infrastructure and Missile Programs to keep them at bay.

Major Bug Fixes

  • [Gameplay] Giving a successful UN Speech will correctly add goodwill to the board.

User Interface/User Experience Updates

  • [UX] Links to the GMT Games Mr. President board game rule booklets have been added. These docs show the full game rules that Mr. President is based on.
